Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) bade farewell to the outgoing Master General Ordnance and Colonel Commandant of SLASC, Major General A.K. Rajapakse RSP, on 11 March 2025, during a formal ceremony at the Regimental Centre.
Upon arrival, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant before being accorded a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Major General A.K. Rajapakse RSP expressed his gratitude to Officers and Other Ranks for their steadfast support throughout his career.
As a token of appreciation for his dedicated service, mementos were presented to the outgoing Colonel Commandant. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of SLASC participated in the ceremony.
