Major A.B.S.U Abesekara psc SLAC, General Staff Officer II (Military Strategy and Fighting Power) of the Directorate of Research Concept and Doctrine at Army Headquarters, conducted an enlightening session on "Corporate and Social Etiquette" for 123 school prefects of Taxila Central College, Horana on 03rd March 2025. The session, held under the Taxila Niyamu Programme – 2025, was organized at the request of the school Principal and the Human Resource Development Unit.
During his session, he shared valuable insights on professional conduct, leadership, and social decorum, providing the young prefects with essential skills necessary to excel as future leaders. His expertise in military strategy and discipline offered a unique perspective, emphasizing the importance of structured leadership, effective communication, and ethical behaviour in both professional and social environments.
The interactive nature of the session allowed students to engage in discussions, raise questions, and gain practical knowledge applicable to their roles as school prefects.
The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented to him, marking a successful and enriching experience for all participants.
