Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, in line with the "Clean Sri Lanka" Programme, the District Secretariat of Kilinochchi spearheaded the "A Beautiful Coastal Line and Attractive Tourism Destination" Beach Cleanup Project at Poonaryn and Elephant Pass on 23 February 2025.
Troops of the 55 Infantry Division, 552 Infantry Brigade, 553 Infantry Brigade, 6 SLSR, 22 VIR, and 2 SLNG extended their assistance to the cleaning activities.
