Security Forces (East) Conduct School Cleaning & Renovation Program

As part of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative and under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, troops of the Security Forces (East), supervised by Major General P. R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) conducted a school cleaning and renovation program on 20 February 2025.

Cleaning and renovation activities were carried out at Mawanagama School, Babarawana School, Pashupradeshwaram School, Kappetipola School, Aselapura, and Leelarathne Wijerathne Central College.

Meanwhile, under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, troops of the 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 11 Sri Lanka National Guard conducted a school cleaning and renovation program at Tharadikulam Rahumaniya College and Mandur 37 Nawakiri College on 24 February 2025.

Meanwhile, the troops of the 242 Infantry Brigade and the 8th Sri Lanka National Guard along with school children and staff, conducted a school cleaning and renovation programme at Shakthi College, Koreikkalappu, on 26th February 2025.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, teachers, and parents participated in the event.
