Deputy Chief of Staff Attends Board of Management Meeting at RVAPL

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army, chaired the Board of Management (BOM) meeting at Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) on 30th January 2025.

Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Brigadier M.G.A.N.B Mahathuwakkara RWP RSP ndc, the Commandant of RVAPL. Subsequently, the Commandant delivered a comprehensive briefing on RVAPL.

After the BOM meeting, the Deputy Chief of Staff, together with the members of the BOM, visited all production sections of the factory. Furthermore, he gave the necessary instructions to increase productivity and, during his address to the troops, highly appreciated the efforts of the factory staff for their contribution to strengthen the effectiveness and readiness of the Army.

The day’s proceedings concluded with an interactive session with all Officers at the Officers' Mess. Finally, the RVAPL Commandant presented appreciative mementoes to the chairman and all BOM members. Later, the DCOS penned complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book.

Major General A.K Rajapaksha RSP, Master General Ordnance, Major General A.M.K.G.P.S.K Abeysinghe, Director General of Financial Management, and Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, Director General Infantry, participated in the BOM discussion.
