Under the vision of General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division, with the guidance of the Commander - 141 Infantry Brigade and the close supervisions of Major N.C Karunarathne RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of the 6th Field Artillery Regiment (6 SLA), and Major Y.D.N De Silva RWP RSP, Commanding Officer of the 8th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry (8 SLLI), troops conducted community service projects for residents at "Sevana" Elderly Home and "Isuru" Children’s Home in Attanagalla on 04th February 2025.
During the programme, two iron beds, two plastic clothes containers, and essential hygiene items were donated for the benefit of 18 elderly residents and 10 staff members. Additionally, 20 children and 4 staff members at the children’s home were provided with stationeries.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
