Major General U.L.J.S Perera RSP USP nps psc officially assumed duties as the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. The initial formalities were conducted on 10th January 2025, amidst religious observances, marking the commencement of his new appointment.
The subsequent formalities were held on 16th January 2025. The events included a Guard Turnout, a Guard of Honour, the planting of a sapling, a troop address, an all-ranks tea, and a camp inspection.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present on the occasion.
