Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), Pays Homage to Nagadeepa Temple, Sri Nagavihara Temple, and Nagapooshani Amman Kovil

Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), received blessings at several religious sites in Jaffna on 13th January 2025, following his assumption of duties.

The visit included the historic Nagadeepa Temple, where he received blessings from Venerable Navadagala Padumakittithissa Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Nagadeepa Temple. During this visit, he participated in the temple’s monthly almsgiving ceremony and discussed recent developments in the sacred place.

Subsequently, he received blessings at Sri Nagapooshani Amman Kovil (a Hindu temple) on Nainativu Island. He met the temple’s trustee authorities and received blessings at this sacred site. The Commander also paid homage at the Sri Nagavihara Temple in Jaffna, where he received blessings from Venerable Meegahajandure Siriwimala Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Nagavihara Temple.
