The Security Forces Headquarters (West) organised a lecture on "Prevention and Awareness of Infectious Diseases" as part of its training day programme on 8th January 2025 at the 4th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.
The lecture was conducted under the guidance of Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West).
Captain K.G.D.R De Silva of 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps delivered the lecture, addressing topics such as the transmission, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, Influenza, Dengue, Pneumonia, and Chikungunya.
Six Officers and 176 Other Ranks participated in the programme.
