Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the newly appointed Commander of the Army, paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General K.P.A. Jayasekara (Retd) WWV RSP VSV USP ndc psc, on 02 January 2025 at his office.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister congratulated Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo on his new appointment. They engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest, focusing on national security, defence cooperation, and the future development of the Sri Lanka Army.
