The Corps of Engineer Services (CES) conducted a lecture on Drug Prevention on 26 December 2024, under the guidance of Major General K.A.N Rasika Kumara ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of CES. The programme aimed to raise awareness about drug abuse among military personnel.
Mrs. Dulshani Tharaka Mahanama, the Preventive Coordinator for Colombo District at the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB), conducted the lecture and shared valuable insights into the challenges of combating drug abuse in Sri Lanka.
Approximately 300 participants, including Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, attended the programme, promoting a drug-free lifestyle within the military.
