Under the guidance of Major General H.C.L Galappatthi RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division and leadership of the Commanding Officer of 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), the troops of 18 VIR organized a school accessories donation programme for the students of Suduwella Parakrama School on 17 December 2024 at Maha Wapi Viharaya in Ampara.
Accordingly, 148 students of Suduwella Parakrama School were benefitted from the programme.
This initiative was generously funded by Lieutenant colonel (Retd.) R. Wikramasingha and the Sri Lankan Australian Association in Ballarat. During the programme, students showcased their talents through captivating dance and musical performances.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, Principal, Teachers, Students and their Parents participated in the event.
