Dry Ration Donation Programme for Low-Income Families in Kannagipuraam, Akkareipaththu

Under the guidance of Major General H.C.L. Galappatthi RSP USP, Commander of 24 Infantry Division and the supervision of the Officiating Brigade Commander of 241 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 11 Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard organized a dry ration donation programme at the Akkaraipattu Kannagipuram School on 21 December 2024, benefiting 25 low-income families living in the Kannagipuram area.

This initiative was generously funded by Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd. The Civil Affairs Officer of 241 Infantry Brigade and Officers and Other Ranks of 11 Sri Lanka National Guard, the Marketing Manager of Hemas Distributors in Akkaraipattu, Grama Niladari of the area, and 55 civilians participated in this programme.
