Major General I.H.M.R.K Herath USP ndc psc, Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), made his official farewell visit to the 7 SLSC on 22 December 2024.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Major M.A.S.S. Muthugoda USP psc, the Commanding Officer of the 7 SLSC, and was accorded a Guard Turnout. Later, he planted a mango sapling to mark his visit and posed for a group photograph.
Subsequently, he addressed the troops and attended an All-Ranks tea. Before concluding the program, he left his compliments in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
