Providing Dry Ration Packs for Flood-Affected Families in Naddakandal Area

Dry ration packs were distributed among the flood- affected families in Naddakandal area located within the Area of Responsibility of 10th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment (10 SLLI) on 14 December 2024 benefiting 60 flood-affected families.

This humanitarian initiative was held under the conceptual layout of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) with the guidance of Major General K.N.D Karunapala RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division. Brigadier B.D Fernando USP Hdmc psc, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade supervised the initiative with the assistance of Lieutenant Colonel K.A.K Hewapathage RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer of the 10 SLLI.

The humanitarian initiative was launched in collaboration with Sri Lanka Army and MBA-8 programme students of ESOFT.
