Christmas Spirit Shared at CIMIC Park by 51 Infantry Division

Under the guidance of Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, a community programme to mark the dawn of Christmas 2024 was held on 12 December 2024 at the CIMIC Park premises.

The event, conducted in collaboration with Manusath Derana and Maliban Biscuit Manufactories (Pvt) Limited, brought joy to children in the area. Renowned TV presenter ‘Panchamama’ Kalasoori Nalaka Hapugoda added an entertaining touch, while traditional decorations such as Gawalena and Christmas tree enhanced the festive spirit. Santa Claus distributed gifts, delighting the children.

Lunch was served to 300 children, and 150 Maliban biscuit packs and cosmetic packs, each worth Rs. 3,000, were distributed.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, representatives from Manusath Derana and Maliban Biscuit Pvt Ltd, along with children and their families, attended the joyful celebration.
