A Subsidence occurred near the Kadirapura Bridge on the Dehiattakandiya-Aralaganwila B- 517 main road, on 14 December 2024, at 0330 p.m., disrupting traffic. With the directions of the Commander of Security Force Headquarters - East, a team comprising two Officers and ten Other Ranks from the 12th Battalion Gemunu Watch, operating under 23 Infantry Divisions and 231 Infantry Brigade, integrated with the Road Development Authority and promptly repaired the road successfully restoring traffic for public.
