Newly Appointed Commander, Security Forces (East) Assumes Duties

Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc assumed duties as the new Commander, Security Forces (East) on 09 December 2024 at the Security Forces Headquarters (East).

Upon arrival, the new Commander was warmly welcomed in a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour by the troops of the Sri Lanka Artillery. Following this, he assumed duties amidst religious blessings by signing the official document. Afterwards, he planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph.

In his address to the troops, the Commander expressed gratitude for the dedication of all ranks and emphasized the importance of discipline and professional skills.
