59 Infantry Division Proudly Marks Its 17th Anniversary

The 59 Infantry Division celebrated its 17th Anniversary on 01 December 2024 at the Division Headquarters under the guidance of Major General D.R.N. Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding (GOC).

The celebrations commenced with a Bodhi Pooja on 29 November 2024. On the anniversary day, the GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour. Following this, the GOC distributed dry ration packs to the civil staff and participated in the All-Ranks lunch.

The event culminated with a musical programme on 6 December 2024 at the Divisional Sports Ground.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
