12 Infantry Division Bids Farewell to Outgoing GOC

The troops of the 12 Infantry Division bade farewell to the 17th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 12 Infantry Division, Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, on 6 December 2024, at the Division Headquarters.

In accordance with military traditions, the outgoing GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of 12th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment.

Addressing all troops of the Division, including under command Brigades and Battalions, he expressed appreciation for their commitment and dedication during his tenure. The day's formalities concluded with an All-Ranks tea.
