12th Battalion of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) celebrated its 17th Anniversary on 03 December 2024 with customary military formalities under the guidance of Major V.B.T.K. Kodithuwakku RSP, the Commanding Officer of 12 SLLI.
The commemoration began with a ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by a group photograph and an All-Ranks lunch. A series of religious observances added spiritual significance to the occasion, including flag blessings at the Vattappalai Kannagi Amman Kovil and a Bodhi Pooja conducted at the camp premises.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
