New Adjutant General Assumes Duties

Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP assumed duties as the 39th Adjutant General at the Army Headquarters during a brief formal ceremony on 09 December 2024.

Amidst chanting of Seth Pirith by members of the Maha Sangha, the Senior Officer signed an official document in his office, symbolising the assumption of his new responsibilities.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the General Officer Commanding of the 14 Infantry Division. Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the ceremony.
