The Infantry Training Centre (ITC) in Minneriya conducted a specialised training programme on 9 October and 20 November 2024, aimed at enhancing the mental wellbeing and camaraderie of Army personnel. The programme, consisted of outdoor team building exercises, held at the ITC sports ground and was designed as a framework adapted from civil institutions.
The programme, implemented as a pilot project, was closely monitored and evaluated for its effectiveness under the guidance of the Commandant of ITC. This initiative reflects ITC’s dedication to enhance teamwork, resilience, and the mental wellbeing of its personnel. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
