24 Infantry Division Conducts OBM Training

Under the direction of Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division, a one-day specialized Outboard Motor (OBM) training was conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy on 12 November 2024 at Oluvil Harbour.

The workshop primarily focused on enhancing the skills of Search and Rescue (SAR) Teams in the 24 Infantry Division area, preparing them for the upcoming monsoon period.

It included both theoretical and practical exercises on OBM mechanics, troubleshooting, and handling techniques across various water conditions.

Eight Officers and thirty-two Other Ranks participated in the workshop.
