Commander of Security Forces (West) Visits 612 Infantry Brigade and Under Command Battalions

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander of Security Forces (West), conducted an official visit to the 612 Infantry Brigade, Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (SLAPC), and 9 Gemunu Watch (GW) on 11 November 2024.

Upon his arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and then warmly received by the General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division and the Commander of the 612 Infantry Brigade. Afterwards, the visiting Senior Officer planted a sapling at the Brigade Headquarters. Following this, a comprehensive briefing conducted by the Commander of 612 Infantry Brigade, covering the operational roles, responsibilities, and the current security situation in the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility.

By concluding the visit, the visiting Senior Officer left complimentary notes in the visitors’ book.
