Twenty-five Student Officers of Logistics Staff Course (LSC) No. 10 visited Ranaviru Apparel in Yakkala as part of their curriculum to enhance their practical understanding of logistics operations on 30 October 2024.
The visit commenced with a presentation detailing the structure, history, and growth of Ranaviru Apparel, providing valuable insights into its role within the Army’s logistics framework. The Student Officers actively engaged in an interactive session with the Commandant and his team, discussing the manufacturing process and logistical challenges involved.
A guided tour gave the delegation the opportunity to observe key departments such as design, fabric handling, cutting, and packing, offering a comprehensive view of the production cycle. The day concluded with the presentation of a memento by the Student Officers to the Commandant.
