Colonel of the Regiment Visits 3 Mechanized Infantry Regiment

The Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) and General Officer Commanding the 21 Infantry Division, Major General W.M.S.C.K. Wanasinghe RSP USP, visited the 3 MIR on 31 October 2024.

Upon arrival, the Colonel of the Regiment was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer and then accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops. Afterwards, he planted a sapling and addressed the battalion troops. During his visit, the Colonel of the Regiment inquired about both operational and administrative matters relevant to the battalion.
