A Felicitation Ceremony for Keterian sportsmen was held on 27 October 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters of the Gajaba Regiment (GR), honouring athletes and their coaches.
The event was graced by Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) and Colonel of the Regiment of the GR. In recognition of their dedication, the Colonel of the Regiment presented mementos to the athletes and coaches.
The ceremony included cultural dance performances and each segment concluded with group photographs. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the event.
