The 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) constructed a new house for a needy family in Yatiyana under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 9 SLSR, in line with the 75th Army anniversary.
Major General A.H.L.G. Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander of Security Forces (West), graced the housewarming ceremony as the Chief Guest on 23 October 2024 and handed over the house keys to the beneficiary.
The house was built with sponsorship provided by local donors. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
