The 23rd Battalion of the Gemunu Watch celebrated its 15th anniversary on 15 October 2024 with a series of events, including a Flag Blessing, Cricket Tournament, Bodhi Puja Pinkama, and an All Ranks Lunch.
These events were held under the guidance of the Commanding Officer (overlooking), Major H.G.T.J. Hapurugala psc, with the participation of Major M.A.L. Sampath (2IC, overlooking), as well as all Officers and Other Ranks of the battalion.
