The 57 Infantry Division launched a tree-planting initiative in line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, under the guidance of Major General W.M.P.M. Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, the General Officer Commanding of the 57 Infantry Division, in collaboration with Rev. Fr. Thusitha Priyanga and his team from the Janasetha Institution. Over 300 saplings were donated to civilians during the event, held on 08 October 2024 at the Pangolla camp.
