As part of the ongoing housing project of the Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division handed over the key of a newly constructed house to the deserving family in Nunavil West, Chavakachcheri coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army on 10 October 2024.
The General Officer Commanding vested the house to the beneficiary amidst religious blessings. This new house was constructed by the troops of 11th Field Engineers Regiment under the guidance of Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division and supervision of Colonel S.M.C.A.S Samarathunga RSP, Commander 523 Infantry Brigade.
Senior Officers, Officers, Government Officials and local community of the area participated in the event.
