12 Infantry Division Troops Assisted Maur Methsewana Temple

In response to a request from the Chief Incumbent of Maura Methsewana Temple, conveyed through the District Secretary of Hambantota, Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, troops of 12 Infantry Division assisted in the plastering and painting of the newly constructed wall surrounding the temple premises.

Philanthropists in the area provided the necessary materials and resources, while troops from the 12 Infantry Division contributed their technical expertise and manpower for the successful completion of the project on 06 September 2024.

The completed wall handed over to the temple in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

The Chief Incumbent of Maura Methsewana Temple, along with the District Secretary of Hambantota, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the troops of 12 Infantry Division for their invaluable assistance.
