A Contingent Owned Equipment (COE) inspection was conducted at the 15th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) in Sri Base Camp, Naquora, Lebanon, on 30 August 2024, with the participation of officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
This quarterly inspection aimed to assess the operational readiness of major and self-sustainment equipment provided by the Sri Lankan government to support peacekeeping operations in Lebanon, as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the government of Sri Lanka and UNIFIL.
The inspection team evaluated various equipment, including combat and support vehicles, armaments, logistics gear, and welfare facilities. The event concluded with a debriefing session.
