Troops of the 12 Infantry Division completed the renovation of the ward complex, toilet complex, and nurses’ rest room, as well as the construction of a new shrine at the Divisional Hospital Beragama, Ambalanthota. Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, vested the renovated facilities in the hospital authorities on 04 September 2024.
The hospital provided the construction materials and resources, while Army troops contributed technical expertise and workforce assistance. The ceremony was attended by Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, hospital staff, and local villagers.
