Troops of 14 (V) GW Construct a New House for a Needy Family

Under the guidance of Major General J.P.C. Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander of the Security Force (Wanni), with the direction of Major General U.K.D.D.P. Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding 59 Infantry Division and the close supervision of Brigadier G.G.C.S Gallage RWP RSP, the Commander 592 Infantry Brigade, troops of the 14 (V) Gemunu Watch (GW) constructed a new house for a needy family in Thanduwan, Nedunkerny.

This initiative, conducted by Major H.D.M.A.P.K. Dissanayake, Commanding Officer of the 14 (V) GW, was completed and vested in the beneficiary on 04 September 2024, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and residents of the area participated in the event.
