Under the guidance of Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, a medical clinic was conducted for the children of Selwapuram and Yogapuram villages at the CIMIC Park of the 51 Infantry Division on 26 August 2024.
The medical clinic was conducted by a medical team led by the Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital, Palaly. During the clinic, the medical team screened the children for diseases, nutritional deficiencies, dental hygiene, and skin conditions. They also conducted a healthcare awareness programme for the parents.
Following the clinic, dinner was provided for all participants, sponsored by Mr. Raj Kumar and his companions.
Parents and children expressed their gratitude to the Army for addressing their timely needs.
