NCD Screening and Education Clinic Held at SF Regimental Centre

The Special Forces (SF) conducted a Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) screening clinic at the SF Regimental Centre on 16 August 2024 under the guidance of Major General J.P.C Pieris RWP RSP ndc, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) and Colonel of the Regiment of SF Regiment.

The clinic was conducted by Dr. Pandula Wijesuriya and his healthcare team from Nalanda Rural Hospital, with the aim of educating troops on various aspects of NCDs. The programme offered health screenings, personalized consultations, and sessions on lifestyle modifications. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this event.
