3 SLNG Constructs New House for Needy Family

Coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, troops of the 3 Sri Lanka National Guard (3 SLNG) constructed a new house for a needy family in Sella Kataragama and vested in the beneficiary on 6 August 2024.

Major General B.K.G.M.L. Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Commander of the Security Force (Central), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Hirosh Jayathilake and his family sponsored this project, which was executed by the 3 SLNG troops with their technical expertise and workforce assistance under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 3 SLNG.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, members of the donor family, and relatives of the beneficiary family participated in the event.
