The 35th Anniversary of the 3 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (3 VIR) was celebrated on 3 August 2024 at the 3 VIR premises amidst military formalities, under the guidance of Major R.M.R. Ranaweera RWP, the Commanding Officer of 3 VIR.
Major General S.R.B. Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of VIR, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of 3 VIR participated in the event.
