UNCIMIC Number 05 Successfully Concludes at IPSOTSL

The United Nations Civil-Military Coordination Officers' Course (UNCIMIC) Number 05 concluded at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) on 19 July 2024.

The course conducted from 8 to 19 July with the participation of 25 student Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, 2 from the Sri Lanka Navy, and 6 foreign Student Officers from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Vietnam.

The Panel of Lecturers featured four Subject Matter Experts: Mr. Alex Lee from Singapore, Mr. Jens Normen Hahne from Germany, Mr. Victor Manuel Nunez from Argentina, and Brigadier General (Retired) Naresh Subba from Nepal.

Major General S.A.N.D Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc, the Director General General Staff and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of IPSOTSL also attended the closing ceremony.
