Specialized Golf Training Programme for Army Student Officers

The Army Golf Committee conducted a specialised Golf training programme for Student Officers at the Army War College in Buttala from 09 to 11 July 2024. This initiative aligns with the Commander of the Army's directive to promote Golf as an Officers' Game, encouraging Officers to develop an interest in this sport.

The programme was launched under the direction of Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Director General Financial Management, Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, and Chairman of Sri Lanka Army Golf. The three-day training was conducted with the participation of 116 Officers, including foreign student Officers from Australia and Zambia.
