The 17th anniversary of the 141 Infantry Brigade was commemorated with a series of events organized under the guidance of Colonel R.R. de S. Dharmawickrema RSP, Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade. The celebrations began with a friendly cricket tournament on 29 June 2024, followed by an almsgiving ceremony and the inauguration of a renovated guard room on 01 July 2024.
On 02 July 2024, Colonel R.R. de S. Dharmawickrema RSP was warmly welcomed by Brigade staff. Afterwards, he was accorded a Guard Turnout at the main entrance, followed by a group photograph and the planting of a sapling in the camp premises. Later on, he addressed the troops, highlighting the importance of discipline as Army personnel.
