Successful Vaccination Program Conducted by 54 Infantry Division

Under the guidance of Major General M.T.I. Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, and in collaboration with Dr. C. Hamith Nanayakkara and his medical team, a successful vaccination program was conducted to eradicate rabies in Mannar.

The program took place from 16 to 19 June 2024, aiming to address the rabies issue in the area. The combined efforts of the military personnel and the medical team ensured the efficient administration of vaccines, contributing to the health and safety of the local population.
