Under the guidance of Brigadier I.N Kandanaarachchi RSP, Commander of 211 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 211 Infantry Brigade organized a 'Rice Dansela' at Brigade Headquarters in Welioya on 25 June 2024.
This event was organized in line with the Poson poya day and Millewe Sumanathissa Thero, Chief Incumbent of Aliwanguwa Bodhirukkaramaya and Moragahahena Poorwarama temples, conducted initial religious observances.
