Colonel Commandant, CES Visits Engineer Services Central Workshop, Habarakada

Major General I.A.N.B Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Military Secretary (MS) of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) visited the Engineer Services Central Workshop (ESCWKSP) in Habarakada on 25 June 2024.

Colonel N Wanigasinghe Lsc, the Commandant of ESCWKSP warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant and then troops of CES presented a ceremonial Guard Turnout. During the visit, Colonel Commandant received a comprehensive briefing from the Commandant on the workshop's role, tasks, and ongoing project progress.

Afterward, the visiting Senior Officer posed for a group photograph commemorating this significant occasion. Symbolizing the visit, a sapling was planted on the camp premises.

A formal tea arrangement was then taken place. Subsequently, he addressed all ranks, emphasizing the critical importance of maintaining discipline, professionalism, adherence to financial procedures, vigilance against drugs, and the continuous pursuit of rigorous training.

After addressing the troops, the visiting Senior Officer conducted an inspection at the workshop premises.
