Director Staff Duties Assumes Office

Brigadier N.H Malsinghe, RWP RSP USAWC psc, of the Gemunu Watch, assumed office on Monday (24 June 2024) as the 38th Director of the Directorate of Staff Duties at Army Headquarters. The assumption of office was marked by a brief ceremony.

Following religious observances, the newly-appointed Director, signed an official document, formally accepting his new position. He succeeds Major General P.R Pathirawithana, USAWC psc, appointed as the General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division.

The ceremony was attended by Staff Officers and Other Ranks from the Directorate, signifying the official commencement of the Senior Officer's tenure in his new role.
