Buddhangala Temple Hosts Relics Exhibition and Almsgiving Ceremony

Coinciding with Poson Poya Day, Buddhangala Temple organized a relics exhibition from 21 - 23 June 2024 at the temple premises. The event was conducted under the guidance of the District Secretariat Office and supervised by Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division.

On 22 June 2024, the General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division enshrined relics at a special forum for public exposure. During the exhibition, an almsgiving ceremony was held for the Buddhist monks in attendance. Additionally, a cool drink dansela was arranged for the devotees and pilgrims visiting the temple.
