Artillery Troops Hold a ‘Dansela’ for the Pilgrims at Polonnaruwa

As per the direction of Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Colonel Commandant of Artillery, and supervision of Brigadier S.P Malawarage RSP USP IG, Commander of Artillery Brigade, troops of Artillery organized a Dansela in front of the Gunners Club, for the pilgrims entering and exiting Polonnaruwa on Poson Poya Day (21 June 2024).

Commander of Artillery Brigade inaugurated the dansela by serving the gathered crowd pol roti, jack fruit and tea.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks from the Artillery Complex - Minneriya actively participated in the event, ensuring a successful and meaningful outreach to the community.
