Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) marked its 20th anniversary on 12 June 2024 aligning with military traditions.
The celebration commenced with a religious activity (Bodhi Pooja) aimed at invoking blessings of noble triple gems for members of the Sri Lanka Army and the country.
In accordance with the long-lasting military traditions, a formal Guard Turnout was accorded to Brigadier S.A Hettige RSP psc, the Commandant IPSOTSL. Subsequently, he planted a sapling in the compound as a token of celebration of the 20th anniversary of the institute and all ranks planted tea saplings as a part of the event.
The Commandant IPSOTSL addressed the troops afterward and posed for a group photograph followed by an All Ranks lunch.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
